Uniform Families Foundation works to make mental health care normal, reachable, and affordable for the whole uniform household, and to make sure no family faces the darkest moments alone.

Firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, nurses, and service members see more in a year than most people see in a lifetime. The weight does not stay at the station, the hospital, or the base. It rides home in the truck, sits at the dinner table, and shows up in a spouse who has stopped sleeping and a kid who has started acting out.
Too many members of the uniform community die by suicide each year, and their families are left with grief and questions. Too many spouses and children struggle in silence because the culture says the person in uniform is the only one allowed to be hurting. Uniform Families Foundation exists to change that for the whole household.

Uniform Families Foundation was founded by a fire wife who has watched the job come home. Department programs serve the member. Military programs serve the service member. Almost nothing serves the spouse and the kids who absorb it all. This program puts the whole household inside the circle of care.
