Community Events
Workshops, trainings, and gatherings that prepare and strengthen the families behind the uniform and the neighborhoods they call home.
Why We Show Up
Service families spend their lives showing up for everyone else. Our events exist to show up for them, and for the neighborhoods they protect. Every gathering serves three purposes.
Prepare
We put real, practical readiness into every household: evacuation plans, go bags, home hardening, and the skills that turn panic into a plan when the emergency comes.
Connect
We bring neighbors face to face with the firefighters, deputies, paramedics, and service families who protect them, building relationships before they're needed.
Strengthen
We build communities where uniform families across all six pillars (Fire, Law Enforcement, Paramedic/EMS, Military, Medical/Frontline, and Uniform Kids) are known, supported, and never alone.

Free 35 Page Emergency Preparedness Guide
Every household in attendance receives a comprehensive guide covering wildfires, earthquakes, floods, evacuation planning, go bag checklists, family communication plans, and more. Developed specifically for Santa Clarita Valley residents by Uniform Families Foundation.
Be Informed. Be Prepared. Be Safe.
Last year, the Castaic fires forced the evacuation of our entire community. Families left their homes in panic, many without a plan, without supplies, and without knowing what to do next.
Wildfire season is year round. Earthquakes can strike at any moment. Floods follow fires. Our community sits in a high risk zone, and being prepared is not optional. It is essential.
These events are organized by Julie Holt, a Tesoro Highlands resident, founder of Uniform Families Foundation, and a fire family wife. Her husband, Captain John Holt, has served with the Los Angeles City Fire Department for over 20 years. She is bringing everything she has learned to help protect our neighborhood.
Every event is for every resident: families, seniors, renters, homeowners, first responders, and anyone who calls the Santa Clarita Valley home.
