The Moving Fund
Orders come with a date, not a plan. A military wife can get two weeks, sometimes less, to pack a whole house, pull the kids out of school, and land in a state she has never seen, often while her service member is already gone. The Moving Fund pays for the move nobody budgeted for.
Two weeks notice. A whole house in boxes. Somebody should pay for the boxes.

The Money Up Front
Deposits, movers, a rental truck, a hotel between houses. The reimbursement comes later. The bills come now.
The Solo Move
The service member reports early. The spouse packs, drives, and unpacks alone, with the kids in the back seat.

The washer that does not survive the truck. The car that needs tires for a cross country drive. The furniture the new house does not fit.

Why We Built This
Because the Orders Never Ask If It Is a Good Time
Uniform Families Foundation was founded by a Marine's wife. She knows what a phone call with a report date does to a kitchen. The Moving Fund exists so a military wife can pack the house without also worrying about how to pay for the truck.
