Purple Heart and Medal of Valor Family Recognition

A Uniform Families Foundation Program

Purple Heart and Medal of Valor Family Recognition

When a service member earns the Purple Heart, or a firefighter, paramedic, officer, or medic earns a Medal of Valor, the country honors the one in uniform. Uniform Families Foundation honors the family standing next to them, because courage on the job is paid for at home.

The medal goes on their chest. The years go on their family.
