The President gave every American newborn a $1,000 start. Uniform Families Foundation is matching it, dollar for dollar, for the children of firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, medical professionals, and service members who were killed or injured in the line of duty.
Their parent gave everything. Their future should not start at zero.
What This Is
A Real Account. A Real Start.
Trump Accounts are tax advantaged savings accounts created under federal law for American children under 18. Money placed in a child's account is invested and grows until adulthood, giving that child a foundation for education, a first home, or a first business. The federal government seeds the accounts of children born from 2025 through 2028 with $1,000. Charities are permitted to contribute to the accounts of a defined group of children.
Uniform Families Foundation is the first nonprofit to use that door for the kids of the uniform. Through Uniform Kids, we contribute $1,000 to the Trump Account of every eligible child in our program. For newborns, that means we match the President's seed. For older children who did not receive the federal seed, we make sure they are not left behind.
The Goal
One Hundred Kids. One Hundred Thousand Dollars. One Start.
Our first cohort funds one hundred children. Every $1,000 raised opens one account. Every dollar donated to this program goes only to this program.
When one child is funded, we announce it. When one hundred are funded, we start the next hundred.
Who Qualifies
The Children We Fund First
A child is eligible when a parent or legal guardian serving in any of our six pillars was killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.
Firefighters
Career and volunteer, structural and wildland, every department.
Paramedics and EMS
Paramedics, EMTs, and emergency medical responders.
Law Enforcement
Every agency, from sheriff's deputies to highway patrol to school police to federal agents.
Medical Professionals
Nurses, physical therapists, and everyone on the front lines in scrubs or a white coat.
Military
Active duty and veterans of every branch.
Uniform Kids
The sixth pillar. The children of all of the above, under 18, with a Social Security number.
How It Works
Three Steps From Nomination to Funded
Nominate
A family member, department, union, or chaplain nominates an eligible child using our contact form. We verify line of duty status with the agency.
Fund
Donations to this program accumulate in $1,000 blocks. When a block is full, the next child in line is funded, in the order nominations were received.
Deposit
Uniform Families Foundation contributes $1,000 directly to the child's Trump Account, with documentation provided to the family for their records.
Why We Built This
The Kids Grow Up Inside the Uniform
Uniform Families Foundation was founded by a fire wife and Marine's wife who watched her own children count shift days on the calendar. When a parent in uniform does not come home, or comes home changed, the child's whole future changes with them. A Trump Account cannot replace a parent. It can make sure the country that parent served is still standing behind their child at 18.
This program exists because the President created the tool and Uniform Families Foundation was already standing with the families who need it most. We are proud to be the first foundation in the country to put the two together.
Uniform Families Foundation is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of the Treasury or the Internal Revenue Service. Trump Account eligibility, contribution rules, and tax treatment are set by federal law. Families should consult the official program information at IRS.gov and their own tax advisor. Donations to this program are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and are restricted to Trump Account contributions for eligible Uniform Kids and the direct administration of this program.
