Uniform Families Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the families behind those who serve: firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics and EMS providers, military service members, and medical and frontline professionals, plus the children growing up in all of them (our Uniform Kids). We provide resources, community, emergency assistance, and recognition for the spouses, children, and loved ones who carry the weight of service at home.

We serve six communities: Fire, Law Enforcement, Paramedic/EMS, Military, Medical/Frontline, and Uniform Kids. Support is open to spouses, partners, children, parents, and loved ones of those who serve.

Yes. Uniform Families Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-5063345). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

No. Uniform Families is a separate for-profit brand offering apparel, gifts, and connection groups. Uniform Families Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They are distinct legal entities with separate finances and governance. Purchases from the Uniform Families brand are not tax-deductible donations to the Foundation.

Every request is confirmed before fulfillment. We verify a family's service connection privately and respectfully, using documentation such as a department or agency ID, military ID, union card, or similar proof of active or retired service in fire, law enforcement, paramedic/EMS, military, or medical/frontline roles. Verification details are never shared publicly and are used only to confirm eligibility.

Two main kinds: direct assistance during hardship or crisis (depending on need and available funding), and resources and referrals, connecting families to trusted organizations for mental health, legal, financial, housing, and emergency support. Explore our Resource Library.

Donations fund direct family assistance, community programs, and resources across our six service pillars. When you designate a category, your gift is restricted to that category. General donations go to the program in greatest need at the time.

Yes. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donations to Uniform Families Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records.
